A great addition to any trader's library.

Thanks for an excellent webinar Richard. I find I always gain great insights into trading but the biggest for me is that you are helping traders "train their eyes" to see the hidden price and volume detail in the charts e.g. tight areas, expectation breakers, priming patterns. Most traders don't "see" the details and this is a skill that must be learned. I would definitely recommend this bootcamp for other traders. In the future webinar on position sizing please could you focus on the use of a percentage stop vs a calculated stop based on % of account risked. Trading higher ADR stocks means setting a stop much wider that the 2-5% you previously mentioned. Using a tighter stop on a lower time frame usually means getting stopped out. What is optimal?

I think it will help fine tune my entries and exits as well as finding candidates. I want to enter earlier than I currently do in a weak market like this one where the Occupant drives the market unduly. I like when Richard asks questions, especially at key ideas. Absolutely recommended. I would like shorter webinars and more questions asked by the presenter to focus our attention on key ideas. More and shorter webinars.

I have been investing (value investing in dividend paying stocks only) and trading (Ichimoku charts) for some time now. I found this course very informative and very well put together. I tried learning price action before but never completely understood it until now! I am grateful that I found Trader Lion. Going forward I will use price action cycles for my trading and try to stick to one approach. Will keep you guys posted on my journey.

The course was enjoyable and full of tips and nuances on how to look for the HTF and how to to trade them.

This is a great book for the beginner and experienced trader.The book reviews the principals of investing that Richard and the Trader Lion team have discussed in detail in their videos over the last few years.Now we have a book which, for those who appreciate this format, is a go to handy reference. No logging on, loading YouTube, searching for that webinar ( getting distracted by the other investing videos YouTube "suggest" etc etc).Here is a go-to book with answers and best of all modern charts of stocks I've looked at and sometimes traded.Great job lads. I'm still working my way through it flipping between chapters and charts and know this will soon be filled with post-it notes.Thanks for collating all this info in one place.

This is the book I would have liked to have on July 23, 1985 - Yes, 40 years ago. The Dow was about 1,300 (Let that sink in) and 4 other guys and I joined Merrill Lynch in Anchorage, Alaska. This great book outlines what any trader/investor needs to master in order to develop a personal process.It would have been THE book I recommended to Schwab clients in the 17 years I was blessed to teach trading at Schwab across 2 regions, Northern California and the Pacific NW. I have often recommended that budding traders study "How to Make Money In Stocks," the William O'Neill classic. However, with its chapter homework and webinar resources (Sorry Bill - those didn't exist back then) this would become my primary recommendation

This course has changed my Trading 180 degrees!! It's extremely clear and understandable. Great download's to take notes with also!! It's a lot of information and Richard and Oliver have a way of making it stick. Some things are repeated and because they need to be!!! The Quiz's after each section helps cement the material in your brain. I also just really enjoyed this course because I'm learning so much!!

How important it is to understand and identify price/volume action, great presentation on this! Best $149 I've spent....embarassed to say some investing strategies I have procured webinars, etc. were pretty much worthless. I'm loving Deepvue and these webinars by default will help me make better use of it. I am a CANSLIM, IBD and MarketSurge veteran but since purchasing the Trader's Handbook and finally Deepvue opened up again I find myself using both but transitioning more to Deepvue. "The Trader's Handbook" is simply one of the most recent best books written for serious traders who want to have a "one stop" book full of winning thoughts and helpful suggestions for becoming a successful trader. The book along with an accompanying set of videos created by two of the authors, Richard Moglen and Ameet Rai offer a one-two punch of information that if followed will benefit all levels of traders. The book contains new trading ideas and suggestions that are hard to find anywhere else. Excellent graphics and notated charts speed up the learning processes.

This is not a beginners book about trading but an intermediate to advanced level. This is well summarized all the key concepts and lessons of the best swing and positional traders and made it in a one battle plan. This will be my go to book that I will look frequently. I highly recommend this book!!!!

Absolute must buy and read multiple times if you are a swing trader/position trader. So much information and years of experience packed into the book. I highly recommend this book to anyone within their first 10 years of active trading. I just purchased a 2nd copy for my son because I'm not willing to even lend my copy out. The book along with the webinars that accompany the chapters have helped me fine tune all my buy, sell, hold rules, portfolio management, and create a well defined daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly routine to keep myself on track for consistency and continuing to improve and learn and discover my strengths and weaknesses so I can work to improve them. This book brought a systematic approach to my trading.

Launch Pad Setup was nice although I call it as a Confluence Setup. But with added confirmation points as explained by Richard, Relative Strength, High Volume, etc. it will make a High Probability Trade . I look forward for such interesting leanings .

Very informative - can't believe this is free

I’ve been a part-time swing/position trader for several years. I read How to Make Money in Stocks, follow IBD and Barron’s, use MarketSurge, and have gone through all the Minervini books. I’ve done pretty well this year, but I also knew I wasn’t operating at my full potential. My position sizing was inconsistent, my sell rules were fuzzy, and my buy rules were more “vibes” than a system. If TraderLion rates traders on a 1–4 scale, I’d say I’d been stuck at about a 2.2 for a while. The Trader’s Handbook is the first resource that actually moved me forward. It’s by far the clearest and most actionable playbook I’ve seen for anyone who wants to treat trading like a real business—not just a hobby. It breaks down every aspect of the process: how to screen, what defines a proper setup, how to build positions, when to sell, and how to approach risk in a way that’s both structured and personal. They’re very clear that trading is ultimately “you vs. you” (to borrow Adam Sandler’s line from The Hustle), but they give you the tools to win that internal battle. What really sets this apart is the combination of the concise book plus the 1+ hour webinars on every single chapter. Normally, I’m someone who sees a slide deck in a webinar and tunes out—I’ll just read the bullets and move on. But Richard and Rai add so much depth, nuance, and practical insight that I listened to every minute (at regular speed!) and took notes. Even though I was familiar with a lot of the concepts, something finally clicked. I’m internalizing the rules instead of just “knowing” them, and it’s already changed the way I read charts and make decisions. Highly recommend for any trader who feels like they’ve hit a plateau, wants more consistency, or is ready to level up their process. This book + webinar combo is the real deal.

The entire webinar is my favorite as I cannot pin point on any particular section. It was so well presented and engrossing that I completely lost sense of time. This is 100% true, no flattery. Never happened before. Biggest takeaway - process, process, process, then comes discipline then patience Would recommend to anyone who asks me about nuances of trading or a budding trader.

Having pre-purchased the Trader's Handbook last Nov and completely rewatching the Ultimate Trading Guide series of 10 videos and reviewing the emails from the Ultimate Screening Guide, I thought this webinar was an excellent 'tie it together' piece. I really liked the section on Common Trading Problems and the emphasis on knowing where you are in the market cycle and committing to a style and setup.

Specifically, looking for the various reversals, subtle gaps and signs that institutions are supporting at a level. As others have probably said - I wish I had this book when I first started trading (have been trading for several years).I'm a huge fan of the educational work the Trader Lion team has been putting out and was curious about the book. It really will shave years off your learning curve if you are a newer swing or position trader/investor. Entry tactics that I picked up along the way to give me an edge are all laid out here, as is risk management. Screening, stock selection and daily/weekly routines are covered in depth as well.The last half of the book is full of annotated charts that show the concepts covered in the first half and are GOLD! Where the popular Oneil books show weekly charts for the wider view, these are daily charts to zoom in on and show the tactics that provide a real edge over the randomness of trading.I highly recommend this book. It covers what you would need multiple books for all in one package. Great job Trader Lion team!

This book is such a fantastic resource. Whether you are starting from scratch or trying to iron out some kinks in your trading, this book has something for you. The best part is that it lays everything out in such straightforward terms that it is incredibly easy to follow. I foresee this book being one of the trading bibles that is recommended again and again. Kudos to the Traderlion team for putting this out.

Info-packed first day of the first bootcamp for the first cohort! Interacting with other traders helps my learning. A key takeaway was how to measure price action with (OHLC) bars or candles. Great job, Richard. Push on!

I liked the bar by bar analysis - that clarified a lot for me. So that is now a new trading rule - annotate the chart with that before entering a trade. Seems like it would be useful to cover some failed breakout charts also looking at bar by bar analysis for indications that it wasn't a great setup.

I have watched you giving lectures about breakout setups multiple times for the past 3 years. I trade the setups, and watch your videos again, and learn new insights every time. You are very consistent and discipline. That is the key. Thank you. Now my entry tactics are better. I am dealing with profit taking. I am still using up 5% taking a half off, which is teached in the handbook. My profit is not as good as it should in the recent rally. Could you give a lecture about trade management and profit taking in the future? I really appreciate it.

Excellent and honest guidance from 'Stan the Man' Weinstein. He provides solid clues to spot the different stages via price action, transitions from one stage to another, and actionable insights into how to play the game. Multiple stock chart examples really hammer the points home. Stan is as much a great orator as he is a trader, so it was most enlightening and entertaining to learn from him. Rich is an excellent interviewer too, and always happy to clarify when necessary so the reader can grasp each idea. Very nice and well put together.

I wish this had been my first ever book to read on trading. Seriously. It is well organized and well written. It takes the reader step by step through what needs to be known and deeply understood to be a successful trader. I am only about halfway through the book and, though I have been trading since 2011 (and have never stopped learning), I have already picked up quite a few nuggets that would have saved me literally tens of thousands of dollars if the information in this book had been in my brain. I would have made fewer mistakes and have made significantly more money. This is a down-to-earth, no-hype book that I recommend to any trader who is not already a master of the market. Oh, there is one more thing. I learn best by hearing, but you cannot hear a chart or any type of visual. So, I have purchased both the Audible version as well as the Kindle version. That way I can listen to a professional speaker while I follow along on my iPad.

They do an amazing job of walking you through the process step by step to help you set real expectations that are not based in the fantasies so that so many others in this space tend to share. Real world stock and trade reviews with great insight and an amazing process guide you to establishing your own system with real edge. Absolutely, the best series of training videos on the internet to help you improve your trading skills. I have learned more practical trading fundamentals in the last few weeks than any other resource.

In The Trader's Handbook, authors Richard Moglen, Nick Schmidt, Ross Haber, and Ameet Rai have written far more than a readable, practical text for developing traders. They have created a training course within The Trader’s Handbook, complete with links to online resources and a wealth of charts for applying new trading skills. The Handbook is clearly written and well organized, taking readers through the process of understanding how and why stocks move and ways of tracking and exploiting the patterns of that movement. The wealth of examples and charts, many of which take advantage of their Deepvue platform, make the Handbook a unique and invaluable trading resource.

Four years in to this trading journey I have read many books on trading and "The Trader's Handbook" has become my most reread book. Learning trading is definitely a personal process and I appreciate the author's pragmatic approach. On the surface the authors may appear to be offering a system, but as the book title suggests, they are really presenting customizable habits and routines that have proven successful over the decades. Being an auditory learner, I especially appreciate the audiobook option.

It was very helpfull how they explained the bars and volume and their meaning. My biggest takeaway is that i must buy this book, because i believe there are lots of knowledge in this book that can help me to be a better trader.

I use the daily report to compare 1) my thoughts and expectations of the market with his to see if I am in sync. 2) Richards watchlist with mine to see if I am missing any names. I appreciate that the report is all concise and to the point with zero fluff added.
